Welcome to the Autumn Term in EYFS

Dear Parents and Carers, 

I hope that you all had a good half term break and that your children are looking forward to the coming weeks in school.  This term our topic theme is Light and Dark and we will be learning about different celebrations such as Diwali, Hannukah and Advent.  In Literacy we will be learning to apply our phonics sounds to writing and looking at a variety of stories.  Please find further information on the following information documents below.

The children will be spending a significant amount of their week outdoors, either at break times or as part of the curriculum.  Please would you ensure that you child is appropriately equipped for the outdoors, with a warm, waterproof coat and sensible shoes. 

The EYFS Christmas Play will be held on Tuesday 8th December and Wednesday 9th December at 2:30pm.  There is no need to purchase tickets for these performances, but we would ask that each family member attends one performance only.  Given the age of the children, we would like to keep audience sizes manageable.
